Kit Launches

Led all club kit launches for New York City FC for three MLS Seasons (2022 - 2025).

Brand Collaborations

Oversaw all brand collaborations for New York City FC for three MLS Seasons (2022 - 2025).

Including partnerships with OnlyNY and the NYC Parks Department in 2023, the inaugural Capsule Collection showcasing the club’s new team crest and brand identity in collaboration with Live Breathe Futbol in 2024, and the first-ever Borough Night Capsule Collection in a historic third partnership with OnlyNY in 2025.

2024 Man City Summer Tour

Coordinated with MLS stakeholders and City’s Retail team to develop a Limited-Edition Manchester City x New York City FC cobranded scarf for the 2024 Summer Tour match at Yankee Stadium.

Served as the primary liaison between Manchester City and Saturday’s Football, facilitating a Trophy Tour stop at the NYC shop and producing a content piece featuring club legend Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Cultivated a partnership between Legends Hospitality and Stichd to secure a consignment deal, introducing New York City FC merchandise to the Manchester City NYC Pop-up at Rockefeller Center.

(Bilingual) Copywriting

Developed and translated Spanish-language copy for paid social campaigns and matchday promotions alongside New York City FC’s social team for three MLS Seasons (2022 - 2023).

Other Cool Stuff

Led the development of a Limited-Edition New York City FC v Inter Miami merch line commemorating Lionel Messi’s historic first visit to Yankee Stadium in September 2024.

Collaborated with the club’s Creative Director to design the Noche Latina digital aesthetic and conceptualized the Limited-Edition number sets worn by the first team during the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

Partnered with Cuban-Dominican multidisciplinary artist Destiny Santana, Major League Soccer, and AT&T to execute the Revive tu Cancha initiative at J.H.S. 218 in East New York, Brooklyn.

This program revitalizes multi-purpose courts and pitches in underserved communities across North America, fostering unity and connection through a shared passion for sports

Ricardo Andrés Verdesoto is a Creative Strategist with over five years of experience in marketing, focusing on sports marketing, project management, and Spanish-language media. His journey includes three years working with MLS (Major League Soccer) clubs in dynamic markets like New York City and Miami.

With a deep understanding of the creative process including strategy, production, copywriting, and design - RAV brings fresh and impactful ideas to the table and knows how to turn them into results.

Outside of work, you’ll find him soaking up the sun at the beach, jammin’ to everything from Reggaeton and Salsa Brava to Boleros and Bachata, or savoring an early Sunday cafecito while watching F1.
